Design Day

Manual J and Manual D, start to finish, in the field.

Scan the house with your iPhone, run a room-by-room load, then draw and size the ductwork on the same plan.

What it does

Scan the house

Walk the floor once and let LiDAR map every room, with windows, doors and stairs sized and assigned to the right wall. No LiDAR? Tap each corner as you walk, trace a blueprint PDF, or type the numbers in.

Room-by-room loads

Heating and cooling per room on Manual J 8th Edition methodology. Wall assemblies by layer with a framing correction, window orientation and shading, infiltration by tightness, duct gains and losses.

Duct design on the plan

Lay trunks, branches and takeoffs by tapping the plan you just scanned. Every run comes back with a size and a velocity, sized to the friction rate that falls out of your blower's static pressure.

The report

A PDF you can hand a customer or an inspector. Room-by-room tables, the duct plan drawn to scale, and a full takeoff behind it — outlet schedule, footage by size, fitting counts.
